Shia LaBeouf’s Drunk Car Accident

While I was the one that should have been in the car wreck this weekend, Shia LaBeouf took car of distracting the cops for me and I was able to get home safe. My weekend did not suck one bit, but I can pretty much promise that Shia’s blew donkey balls.

“Attorneys for Mr. LaBeouf confirm that an automobile accident involving an additional party occurred early morning in Los Angeles on July 27, 2008,” said Melissa Kates in the statement issued Sunday evening. “Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time. It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest…”

Back in May, Shia offered us this little tidbit…

“There’s nothing cool about getting arrested for stupid stuff at my age. But it keeps happening to me. I could pretend that I find it all highly amusing, but I’d be lying. It’s deeply embarrassing. I decided a long time ago to stop doing stupid things, so clearly I’ve still got some work to do on myself. I’m not anonymous any more. Now, I light up a cigarette in the wrong place and overnight I’m the Al Capone of misdemeanors. What I’ve got in terms of acting is too important for me to jeopardize.”

Oh man, check out the pic of Shia’s truck after the accident. I guess it’s kinda his own fault. If he was driving drunk, then he should count his blessings because he did not kill himself or anyone else. Thanks for spicing up a slow-@ss weekend.
