Leona Lewis Sings At The Olympics

leona lewis and jimmy page olympics closing ceremony

So the Olympics are coming to a close. No more gymnastics flexibility, no more Michael Phelps hot bod sightings, no more runners diving for the bronze medal. Bummer. The cool thing of the Beijing Olympics is the fact that this stuff happens like hours and hours before NBC airs it. Here is a clip from the closing ceremonies of Leona Lewis performing with Jimmy Page. Enjoy it cause it’s pretty freaking good…

  5. I saw Led Zep several times in the early seventies and quite often, they weren’t that good live - meandering and a bit of a racket, unlike the records, which were, and remain, mind-blowing of course. They are obviously tighter and don’t go in for all that boring solo-ing and self-indulgent pratting around these days but I thought this sounded ok, much to my amazement, though she is a bit …stationery …perhaps inhibited by the size of the stage they’re perched on.
