That Song From Quantum Rocks

I am sure that you and you grandmother have already seen or at least are planning on seeing the new James Bond flick this weekend. I was lucky enough to see a premiere of Quantum of Solace the the one thing I am super excited about? The opening song. Originally, the song was going to be done by Mark Ronson (Samantha Ronson’s brother) and Amy Winehouse. Sadly to say, she was unable to finish the song. According to her producer Mark Ronson, it would take ‘’some miracle of science” to finish it, as the singer is ”not ready to record any music.”

In comes Alicia Keys and Jack White (of the White Stripes). Odd combo… but it worked. The point of all this is to tell you that the official video for the song sucks and they should have used the opening credits for the movie instead. Watch both below and let me know what you think.

Quantum of Solace is entertaining at least… a lot of high quality visuals, but the movie as a whole could stand to lose six or seven fewer chase scenes
