Eddie Vedder took some time out while at the Best Western Dobson Ranch Inn in Mesa, AZ where he was staying for the Cubs’ 2009 Fantasy Camp to sing a few karaoke songs. He did U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name” and The Beatles “Yellow Submarine” (where he altered the lyric to Yellow Cub-marine. Such a funny guy…
I guarentee you if Pearl Jam fans caught wind of this, you would have a million comments here! Cant believe I’m the first one to leave one, but, oh well…..Here I go!
This is just so awesome!! Just shows what a cool guy eddie is just an ordinary guy hanging out. What about that. Love him so much!!! Gosh wish I could of been there!!!

I am not just a Pearl Jam fan, I was born at the same hospital the same week as Eddie. I like to think we came from a musical nursery as I play guitar and piano, and we all know what Eddie does……. Must have been in the bottles! He is, and always will be, my favorite hometown liberal musical genius………..
You know once Eddie see’s the video he will get his internet police and try to take it down claiming it was a performance. It’s classic video footage but I know Eddie was known to do that on youtube last year during the solo tour.
don’t worry man, PJ fanbase is already well aware of this

Great video…thanks for sharing that. It’s nice to see EV cut loose and have some fun. Considering that he’s a serious guy, particularly with the media.
Comment by Margaritaville — February 7, 2009 @ 9:04 pm
they are? that’s not true. that’s impossible? NO!!!!! j/k
That was outstanding….kick back at a hotel bar and oh look there’s Eddie Vedder doing U2 kareokee…wish he was a red sox fan might of shared a beer at the CASK
greatest part was when eddie looked over his shoulder and asked for his mic to be turned down. looked like they were having a blast.
peace and love, peace and love!

Im glad Ed doesnt take himself as seriously as he used to. I ran into him at a Sleater Kinney show, super cool dude. Gave us EV picks. Cant wait for the new album.
Eddie, sorry that someone had to take advantage of the trust that you gave our small group at camp. To the pitiful individual who did the video- I hope the little bit of money was worth it! Eddie is a great guy and did those songs for us not for you to make money… Please leave your camera home next year or don’t come..Pat

OMG, he is my favorite-this is great, just posted it on my facebook..rock on..
Wow, Eddie really blew that song. He could barely hit any of the notes. Horrible, even by karaoke standards. And as for the idiot (pat?) talking about some violation of trust or something - thanks for the laugh, asshat. You must really think you and Eddie had some sort of “special connection” or something. I hate to break it to you bud, you just happened to be there. Go back to furiously masturbating to that picture you keep of him (you know, the one where his face is pasted onto the body of a dude in a speedo) whilst dreaming of that brief moment you shared while at “camp.” lmfao.

Eddie Vedder did SUCH a great job! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Pearl Jam is the best band ever!!!
pat, there’s at least 2 cams, and someone is filming with his mobile, all of em like in 5 feet distance from eddie…do you really expect eddie to be so naive that he didnt know this was gonna get on youtube etc?
eddie just still has it…he is like a good wine, just keeps getting better every day.
Eddie and Pearl Jam did have these videos removed from You Tube and from the Pearl Jam 10 club sites. They apparently sited “copyright infringements” and that “It was a private event”.
Eddie wasn’t trying to “hit it” he was probably a little drunk trying to have fun with his friends. We all get to do this why not him? Just shows he can have a good time. Especially since he is a father 2x over!

Weird… i thought rock stars occuppied were not real people, but made from altered genetic data or were aliens sent from another dimension. The video here, though, suggests that this being, with an otherworldly voice, Eddie Vedder, seems to perhaps be a real person who is just like us.
Im a huge Pearl Jam fan and an even bigger Eddie Vedder fan. This just proves what a great guy ed is and how youre suppose to enjoy life. Its great to see how much fun he’s having. It wouldve been better if he was singing at a bar i was at though. lol Love you ed!!!
