   its controversial because when she sings it, the real lyrics are “all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek amy”, but when she sings it, the lyrics sound like “all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to F*** me.”

   Personally, i think “amy” is like a alter ego and the video is how she changed during the past year and really acts in private (behind closed doors) and how she is suppose to act in the public eye (hence the ending britney dressing as a stereotypical wife). i dont know, that what i think…

   I don’t get the controversy either, but will still put in my two cents worth…

   Seems to me the song ‘If You SEE Amy’ is about two personas. “Amy” is who the public wants to see and who everyone is asking for, when who she really is remains away from prying eyes. Maybe its a take on Britney’s world. I think she is expected to have a different public persona based on what we are all used to seeing (with some looking for her to succeed and others looking for her to fail), but yet she is completely different when she steps out of the limelight. She probably feels it is the toughest accomplishment to be back on top and appear stable, but honestly, if you really look at her, if she didn’t have her music and the love of dancing and performing, she would be empty. At least when it comes to self-fulfillment in her career goals. Her children are obviously the world to her, and that is completely separate from what made her a celebrity to begin with.

   they changed the song to if you SEE amy for radio because of the whole vulgur language or whatever but i love the video i love how she takes the whole fun out of that fox network debate over the song
   tho i do agree with the whole alter ego thing makes sense for the video.
   Amy being the girl that the whole worls wants to see the cooky cutter the one who makes dinner etc etc and there is nothing WRONG about her she is just PERFECT. And you can’t find her at the club because hey she is perfect she wont be there right?

   BTW this video isn’t a ‘leak’ there was a world premiere of the video on britney.com on the same day you posted this megs just sayin

   P.S i belive this video is trying to make the people think and actually use the somewhat of intelligence the world has left to try and understand the concept with the whole fox network debate at the start and at the end saying ‘it doesn’t make sense does it?’ and because of that line at the end this video is going to be talked about and be huge

   i agree i think that amy is what people want to see from her, a pritty girl who does all the right things at the rigt time, which is perfect when they show the house wife persona. and the whole party part i think to show how things are different from what we see in the media. like i dont think she is trying to say she is a wild party animal, but rather there are things you dont see that happen. I personaly like it sorat… and i think the song cal loosely translate into something like that too… or maybe its just me.

   idk to me it seems as if in the end, it’s “the girl” but her alter ego would be amy. get what i mean? the mom’s alter ego is amy and everyone wants to fuck amy. and amy is the girl in the club etc.
