OctoMom Visited By Social Services

nadya suleman 5 431x6841 OctoMom Visited By Social Services

OctoMom (Nadya Suleman) was visited by La Habra Police Department on Wednesday because one of her liter went to school with a black eye and bite marks. However, the PD offered this statement…

On Wednesday, April 29, 2009, La Habra Police personnel were requested to assist Orange County Social Services involving a matter pertaining to the Sulemans. As is customary, the department routinely assists other agencies, when so requested. However, the La Habra Police Department is not involved in any ongoing investigation pertaining to this family.

…which basically means that they didn’t want to comment on the situation. OctoMom is claiming that it’s totally normal for her kids to have bruises and bite marks because her kids bite each other. Oh, and the kid with the black eye is autistic — which means he bumps into things. Hmm, really?!

  1. Actually kids with autism do tend to get bruises because they have no sense of danger, sometimes. I used to care for this kid and he would have no sense of what could cause him harm. He used to climb everywhere, he tried climbing over the back of a dining chair one time. And because you can’t explain to him that its dangerous (because his autism is so severe that he can’t communicate) the only way you could teach him the dangers is to let it happen (which, obviously, you wouldn’t, but sometimes you can’t always have an eye on kids, y’know?)
