In honor of the season 6 premiere tonight, I’m going to remind you that the ladies (and gents) of The Hills do make bank every single time they appear in an episode. In fact, they make tons of freaking bank.

Lauren Conrad - $125,000 per episode (her contract also stated that nobody on The Hills could make more than her)
Kristin Cavallari - $90,000 per episode
Heidi Montag - $100,000 per episode
Audrina Patridge - $100,000 per episode
Lo Bosworth - $100,000 per episode
Spencer Pratt - $65,000 per episode
Brody Jenner - $45,000 per episode

Oh, and let’s not forget how much they make for appearances…

The Hills and its stars have become such a name brand—in certain circles—that Cavallari and Co. receive between $20,000 and $25,000 for personal appearances—which last no more than two hours—at events such as club and gallery openings, according to Mike Esterman, a celebrity booking agent. When Speidi showed up at a Valentine’s Day gala in Las Vegas, Pratt and Montag each took home $30,000. And Montag’s recent Playboy cover shoot—she graced the September issue of the magazine—earned her $375,000 plus a generous chunk of royalties, despite the fact that she didn’t take it all off.

i cant believe spencer is even getting paid for being on the hills. he is portrayed as such a rude and mean person, i still cant believe heidi married him.
oh and kristen…$90000 per ep, she drives me crazyyyyyyyy
if the first ep in season 6 is solely focused on her i dont think i’ll be watching it anymore
