‘LA Candy’ Is Going To Be A Movie

Looks like life after The Hills is totally possible. Not only is Lauren Conrad’s book a New York Times Best Seller for 14 weeks straight, but now it’s going to be a full length movie. Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired the screen right to ‘Candy’ and the Twilight producers will be working on the project. Luckily, LC will be involved the entire way through the project, including writing the script.

“Lauren, who became an icon in that reality show world, came to us with a structure of how to tell the story in an interesting fashion that was separate and apart from the book,” Bowen said. “We loved her take. Her book is an honest portrayal of what it must be like to set out to be normal, then sign on to become famous and eventually realize, wow, this isn’t at all what I’d planned for myself.”
