Spears Fans Demand Money Back

Well, honestly, this is insane. If you seriously went to a Britney Spears concert and honestly believed she’d be singing the entire thing live than you’re on some crazy drugs. Britney Spears is the queen of lip syncing. Duh. Apparently, lots of her fans in Perth Australia (sorry to hate on Australia, kids, but it’s gotta be done) stormed outta the show because she wasn’t singing live…

“…disappointed by the lackluster performance and Spears’s lip-synching during her two-hour show. Spears gave Perth fans a generic welcome, never mentioning their city by name. ‘What’s up Australia?,’ she said from the stage. ‘How you feeling tonight? It’s so good to be here tonight. Your country is beautiful.’

One disgruntled concert-goer, Wendy Di Renzo, 36, said she paid $148 for her ticket. ‘It was so impersonal. She did not interact with her audience,’ she says. ‘There were no big TV screens projecting the action, so if you didn’t know Britney, you might have even doubted it was her.’”

Not only that, but three Australian states are laying down the lay for performers like Spears. They are asking for stricter rules on concert promotion, saying the fans should be told whether a show will be live or lip synced.

Best part of this story? John Mayer’s input via Twitter — “If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you.”

the whole britney thing is.. yes fans were annoyed at her lip syncing but it was the way the organizers tried to hide it with no actual footage of britney on the big screens she was like a small dot on stage to most fans… all the screens showed was circus acts on the screens… would u go to the circus to see that? and she had her back to her fans nearly her whole show… yes i am a britney fan… but seriously…. i am in melbourne and am still going to her concert on wednes just coz i want to hear see for myself but i personally am not holding my breath for a breath taking show

Wrong! People were unhappy, NOT because of the lip-synching so much as she couldn’t even lip synch in time. Plus her dancing was less than impressive. No Big screens either. Aussies are well aware she doesn’t sing live, because she CAN’T. Sorry but she is not talented.

as a fan id be happy listening and just being in the same room as her

if you dont like it, dont ”waste” your money and then time complaining about it..

amazing being able to sing is not longer necessary to be a singer these days. why wld u pay money tho she sounds better on cd with voice effects.
