So Rob Schneider was doing an interview at a radio station (WiLD 95.5fm) in my town… and for some reason he thought that he was important. Before the video began, he ragged on the female host and the morning show made him wait (in the parking lot from what he says, the show producer told me he did that voluntarily and she even brought him coffee in her own mug out to him) and he wouldn’t let it go.

I never once thought that Rob Schneider would be a jack @ss but he was… big time. I love how the chick on the show totally “quit this b*tch”…

This was totally real. I heard it live as it unfolded. The guy in the hat is one of the radio personalities from the show. He is one of the funniest guys I have heard on radio.

karma is a bitch. it’s funny to see virginia get so uncomfortable in the video. i was in town for a couple of days and flipped to this radio station and got a chance to here the ‘Wild crew’ talk about some new book talking about stereotypes about different ethnic groups. all i can say is that i am convinced that virginia seemed a bit more racist in some of her comments and it’s great to see the shoe put on the other foot!

I’m a huge Wild 95.5 morning crew fan, and I hate to say this, but I don’t see how Rob was a jerk. Unfunny is more like it, but he didn’t come out as a jerk to me. Maybe I’m missing something.

What I saw was an unfunny actor and two douchebags with thin skin. They kept saying how their interviews with comedians never works. Seems to be a sign of how bad they are at interviewing. I’m no fan of Rob but it didn’t seem to me that he was doing anything more than busting their chops which is just a way of trying to set them up for jokes. As with morning “zoo” crews, they wouldn’t understand humor if it slapped them in the face…which after seeing this, I wish someone would slap that mook that kept yelling at Rob. What an ass.

You guys putting this show down are idiots! This is the best talk show in the morning ever period. And Jason who you guys are talking about is the one who mostly keeps me laughing everyday. You know how people say they’re joking but they have some seriousness behind it? That’s what Rob, who I was always a big fan of, did. It was fine at first but then Rob just took it a little too far. I probably would’ve reacted the same exact way. And Jason was right so many big shots come in expecting more than they get and they let you know! Plus he wasn’t funny at all.

I am also a big fan of the morning show and most the time I agree with them…..however, I didn’t feel that he was being a jerk. I’m not a huge Rob Schneider fan, but I thought they overreacted. I thought he was just joking and being sarcastic. I think the wild show was just a little sensitive that morning.

Rob was completely being a jerk. There is a difference in someone trying to be funny and plain old sarcasm… If he wasn’t being a snobbish jerk he would have tried to apologize, instead of trying to explain how he doesn’t care either way how they took the things he said. Seriously, being snobbish and sacastic jerk is not funny. Also, in this instance, I completely agree with how Virgina and Jason reacted.

Gotta say…. I am a fan of Jason and Kevin on the Wild Morning Show and I think that Virginia set the tone for the interview. Honestly, I don’t understand why she is on the show- she talks over Kevin and Jason all the time, thinks she knows everything and I agree with Rob that voice…UGH!!!! The only thing that you guys accomplished is give this guy material for another movie and the opportunity to make MORE money. I bet he’s already pitched the idea to Adam S (who I love- greatest comedian ever) and they will come up with something to benefit them financially. Seriously, Virgina needs an attitude adjustment.

I don’t see how Rob was being a jerk either! He was just being funny and I thought it was pretty funny when he was jokingly dissing the station for making him wait in the carpark!
I think the only reason having Rob & other comedians as guests hasn’t worked for the station is because the radio hosts have no sense of humour let alone any idea how to interview someone who does!

Sorry, but Rob wasnt at fault, and honestly, he’s owed an apology Im sure the “tough guy” radio crew wont give. Either this lame crew planned to gang up on Rob, or they are just massive morons.

This is another irrelevant local morning zoo show in which the hosts are so caught-up in their own little world that they don’t realize they have a perfect opportunity to make fun of themselves and their irrelevant guest. Just run with it, you made a b-list comedian sit and wait in the parking lot to get on to your c-list show because you were busy with some former Michael Jackson back-up dancer in studio??? That is hilarious, run with it and transition in to the interview. Do some research on your guests…Schneider is all dry humor and great at making fun of himself. Stop taking yourselves so seriously.

Rob wasn’t particularly hilarious, but the entire morning show was unprofessional and incredibly immature. No clue how to play along with what he was attempting. “Their arena”. Like he lives for local morning radio. They didn’t ask a single interesting question. Walking out? Really? Hard to believe she was that offended. Bush league attempt at being “on the edge”, but at least people are talking and that’s all they were looking for…however that is exactly how to NOT get big names in the future.

Why is the headline “Rob Schneider is a jerk”? The only jerks in this interview are the members of the morning crew. They were trying to instigate a confrontation by accusing him of being upset, not changing the subject, saying he kept bringing it up, when in fact that chick is the one who brought it back up and trying to act like she was joking, so Rob made one last joke about it too and he gets verbally attacked.

Rob Schneider did nothing except make a couple sarcastic jokes. He handled the situation pretty well if you ask me.

Wow. Seems like Rob Schneider was only trying to set up some laughs about his experiences just prior to the interview. He was just getting the ball rolling. The bush league amateurs doing the interviewing take themselves way too seriously, and immediately went on the defensive. Their insecurities got the best of them, and they sh@t the bed. Get a grip folks, it’s talk radio.

Professionals would have been able to roll with what Rob was attempting to bring to the table, and make the best of the situation. The hosts really came off like spoiled brats, especially by dropping the headpiece and walking out. lol. Oh brother *rolls eyes*. They should stick to guests like pro skaters & dancers, and American Idol talk.

The problems with other comedians indicated by the hosts def. shows a pattern; the hosts lack a sense of humor. Title should read: “Bush League Interviewers Just Don’t Get It”

Now that I watched the video I don’t think that Rob was a jerk. I was actually shocked to see how Virginia and the other guy lost their cool. They should had finish the interview profesionally and left it on Robs’ hand to dig a hole for himself.

Yep, gotta say the radio hosts (mainly the dude with the hat and the chick) were total d-bags here.

Outside of the fact that when an entertainer books a radio station gig, they are given a pretty early call time - so when you show up, you expect to go on then, not be told to wait for a while. Second, the hosts are the ones who mention that situation, not Schneider. Third, this wad in the hat is just trying to make a name for himself.

Schneider is right - radio morning shows DO have a tough time filling the air with quality content. They acted like he made a derogatory term. I’m glad I don’t live in this town, so I don’t have to listen to these hacks myself.

I must admit that comedians do seem to think they are overly important, and Rob Schneider is not a funny man. But just going by the video it seems that the hosts are the ones who keep bringing up the parking lot thing. I have no doubt he may have made comments and been a baby about it before the interview, but the guy with the hat on was overly sensitive. He flew off the handle a little too quickly. The hosts of this radio show are complete morons. Rob Schneider was making jokes, doing what comedians do. In no way was he being a “jerk” or anything of the sort. These hosts wanted to get their names in the paper, or make it seem like they are above the “celebrity” type persona. Even after they were completely illogical and innapropriate towards his jokes, Rob Schneider handled it with dignity and class. The funniest part of this interview is that idiot woman trying to act tough. Seems like she belongs in some kind of mental institution with the way she overreacted. Good stuff.

He asks if the Michael Jackson dance was worth making him wait as if he’s better than some other human. Then he tells the show he doesn’t care if he’s funny or not because he makes enough money to buy and sell them five times over? So HE set the tone, he was being a douche bag. I’m not familiar with this morning show, but a few things are pretty evident. Shows like this are exactly what’s wrong with the business and why more and more people are turning to satellite radio and iPods. Rob Schneider makes a joke and these minor-league/small-market “talents” can’t even roll with it. (At least two of the three of them showed ZERO professionalism).

Rob was trying to be complimentary when he said “it’s hard to fill a show”. Morning radio is relentless, there are four or five hours of time to fill and typically even super-talented, big-name shows can have issues filling that time, so Rob was saying that he understands that pressure. Unfortunately, this “morning zoo” (or whatever the Hell they are) couldn’t even grasp that.

Let’s be honest, Rob was doing the station a favor, he doesn’t HAVE to go to West Palm Beach and he most certainly doesn’t have to appear on some scrub morning show with people who will never amount to 1/1,000th of what Rob has accomplished.

Rob wasn’t being a jerk he was just joking around and the “morning crew” just has no sense of humor. Rob was saying that in morning radio the djs are always looking for content. This incensed Virginia and Jason but it is the truth. Half the time they are talking about their daily life or talking to some silly psychic on the phone. The show is very mediocre and is the same thing you will hear in hundreds of other markets.

All you morons that do not listen to Wild 95.5 everyday like us people in West Palm need to keep your comments to yourself. If no one knew who Rob Schneider was, they wouldn’t know he was even a comedian after that interview. You watch Howard Stern and form your opinions without knowing the whole story. Week after week, they get pompous comedians coming in to promote their show, and act like their pooh doesn’t stink. The show finally had enough. Rob Schneider maybe funny in his films, but when not able to follow a script, he is no doubt a disrespectful pompous ass! I don’t usually have such a stong opinion of celebrities, but he seem to act like he was verbally attacked, not so! I have listened to the morning crew show since it first aired and have the utmost repect for all of them. Their humor is true humor. . . in the end they all agree to disagree. Rob’s humor may be dry and sarcastic sometimes, but this was deinitely a display immature behavior and his rudeness was uncalled for!

Rob kept giving these guys openings to banter and they just didn’t get it. The Roy Sheider bit, the parking lot, and the buy and sell you lines could have been great openings for someone with talent. None of the people on the show were quick enough to get it and come back other then just yelling and getting defensive.

They suck and I’m glad Rob walked out, he is too far out of their league to waste his time trying to make a show interesting and funny if the hosts can’t keep up.

First, Rob was acting like a jerk, and looking down upon the Morning Show crew. Their previous interview with Norm McDonald wasn’t funny at all, same with this one.

Second, yes the crew gets amped up but for the right reason. Rob was a douche, and he is now officially Douche Bigalow. You can’t just disrespect someone and say that you can buy them 5 times over regardless of if you can or can’t. That’s disrespectful!!

Third, this was one part to a whole radio show. They are funny and honestly I would have preferred the dancer to have been on the radio and talk more about Michael Jackson than have Rob come on the show at all.

Fourth, Rob wanted to wait in the parking lot. He has no right to complain, and I think he waited in the parking lot just to bring it up and be an ass about it!! Also, if he was joking while on the air about the parking lot then he shouldn’t have brought it up multiple times when the first time he brought it up wasn’t funny!! If a joke sucks, you don’t tell it again!!

Actually, the truth of the matter is NOT that “Rob was making jokes” — he was being BLATANTLY “passive-aggressive”!!! You see, when someone is acting that way, they are “pretending” to be “joking”, when in REALITY they are being snide & catty. I don’t think that Rob was a jerk at all. The truth hurts. Kevin and Virginia DON’T have enough to do. That’s why they have dumb asses like “Tiffany Shepherd” who is a Jerry Springer reject on for an hour and a half to try and help her go from “Pro Hoe” to “Career Mom” after her new husband was arrested for child abuse on her son. Why don’t they try to help the real single mom’s and dad’s out there who do have custody of their kids try and find a new job after being laid off and not fired for not showing up! It seems like this show is filled with a bunch of puppets bouncing on strings. I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion. Rob was annoyed he had to wait and was trying to make UN-funny jokes about the situation and everyone else was on the defense. Let it go. This is not the first bad interview and I’m sure won’t be the last. Do something useful with your air time and report on something worth listening to!

After I heard the clip on the Stern Show I went to the station website and listen to the show live for awhile. That show is unlistenable!!! MY GOD!!! The music was horrible and the personalities didn’t have any. Also during the Schneider interview the jerk who was busting on Rob was not only dissing him but every other comic who ever was on the show. I’d be surprised if they ever get another comic as a guest. I’m sure the local comedy club is pissed as well.

I thought Rob was trying to be funny and amateurish hosts just didn’t get it. I think the DJs had gold in their hands and through it away. Why didn’t they roll with the parking lot jokes which were hysterical. They could have riffed with him on the parking lot bit and made jokes about the cigarette butts or said he was in the wrong section of the lot, he should have been in the VIP section where they have ashtrays. I only ended up here because I heard mention of this debacle earlier today. To me, the video gives a clearer depiction of what was happening, and it was not Rob Schneider causing a problem.
It seemed as though the host, Kevin, was the clear thinker among the 3 radio personalities and that his 2 flunkies are probably bringing him down. There was no reason for pajama boy and trailer-park girl to take things where they went. Rob was probably poking a little fun at their expense, but he is a comedian for crying out loud! Rob also was clearly trying to move on from his lame attempt at pulling material from the long wait, but was pulled back in right before things blew up by a pajama girl comment.
This radio show is another fine example of why 99.9% of terrestrial radio blows.

Im a real big fan of the morning show crew and i listen to them every morning, they dont act like to everyone, they are all really fun loving easy going people and it takes quite a bit to get them to act like they did. I give them big props for standing up to him the way they did. Jason is hilarious, and so are the other two…i think they did the right thing and so do alot of other people. he was being a jerk and they just did what alot of others are scared to do, they stood up to a celebrity..if thats what you want to call him.

Schneider was being a wiseass that’s his job. That’s why you have comedians as guests. Misunderstandings happen,but Rob Schneider was the only one trying to defuse the situation. The hosts are the jerks with no ability to laugh at themselves. They continue to bitch and whine while Schneider is trying to calm the room down. That’s probably why the Norm MacDonald interview went badly too.

I live in the area and make it a point to listen to ANYTHING other than 95.5 at most times of the day, not just in the morning.
I used to listen, but their jokes aren’t funny, their stunts never go the way they intend them and the “personalities” have egos detectable from the receiving side of the radio airwaves.
This is proof.
Yeah, Rob was being a little bit of an ass - he’s a celebrity and a comedian. Maybe that’s just his brand of humor. And it’s obviously been working for him.
The DJs more than inflamed the situation. Virginia acted like a child. Jason always does so that’s nothing new. Even Kevin kept bringing up the parking lot and apologizing for it. Rob said more than once, “It’s fine. Let it go.” But they didn’t and now they’re the ones with pie on their faces.
Which is what they deserve..

Yeah, Rob has soo much talent. He acted in the Oscar winner movie, “The Animal”. This radio show has had so much more talented guests, so keep defending your mini comedian. And Jason is great friend’s with Vanilla Ice. You all talk smack about people you don’t even know, but we have to consider the source. Wow, this is one of the worst morning crews I’ve ever seen and/or heard.

And I lived in SoFla for 15 years (pre-Sirius), I’ve listened to a variety of morning teams, and most of them are horrendous. I’ve even heard this Wild crew before, and had to turn them off.

Sadly, people who live in one place for a long time without access to a national, quality morning team such as Stern, Bubba, or the Monsters have no idea what they are listening. They fall in love with their “local celebrities” and accuse everyone else of not “knowing” or “appreciating” their morning crew.

Everyone on Wild was unprofessional. The so-called leader of the crew was a passive puss, unable to step in to exert some control over an off-the-rails interview. The two sidekicks were moronic, not understanding the humor or the openings for jokes that Rob Schneider provided. Instead, they waved their arms around for the cameras and acted as if Rob was responsible for all their previous bad experiences.

Who cares if Norm MacDonald smoked pot? Rob didn’t, but those two idiots attacked him for something Norm did. Norm is well-known for his arrogant demeanor, Rob Schneider is known for his friendly, easy-going manner.

At no time did any of the three hacks show an ability to ask Rob any questions. The hacky host set the stage by STARTING his interview with a comment that Rob made off-air about the one woman’s voice. That was his OPENING? Wow, what a no-talent.

Rob had couple of GREAT opening bits that highlight the grind of a promotional tour, from following a meaningless “Michael Jackson back-up dancer” to the misspelling of his name (and the similarity of Rob Schneider and Roy Scheider).

In the end, I am grateful that I have Sirius and only have to listen to hacky local morning hacks when I rent a car.

I can now add the “Wild” morning crew to a nearly endless list of indistinguishable local morning show losers who lack the originality to build an audience larger than a few thousand.

The people of West Palm are not hillbillies, but some of them clearly have low, low standards for their radio entertainment if they think that the Wild morning crew are very funny.

Not to mention that the comedian you’re knocking for doing “The Animal” also is 15x more successful than all of the other people in that room combined. I think the entire morning show missed the boat…Rob was being funny, something these amateurs couldn’t pick up on. He made fun of the fact he was in the parking lot, and the hosts (who are they?) wouldn’t move on…Rob kept saying, lets move on, and THEY wouldn’t!! Jason may be the biggest d-bag ever. That was the worst interview by a morning show I have ever witnessed and Jason and Virginia may be the worst talk personalities on the planet. Rob was trying to be funny…Kevin was asking horrible questions and Jason and the other c*nt had nothing to offer. It was quite obvious that Jason thinks he is something he is not, and that he is completely jealous of Rob and his success. Like it or not Rob is a very successful comedian and movie actor. He may not be at the top, but he has broke out into a realm that very few make it to…which I am certain Jason or any of the d-bags on this show never will. If a 3.5 and a meager 7th in the ratings is what you consider a success, it is no wonder you find a mullet wearing Flo from “Alice” and Gangsta Mini-Me so hilarious. Whether these big time radio “ass-casters” were capable of comprehending Shneider’s sense of humor is irrelevant. The pure lack of professionalism they demonstrate here indicates they wouldn’t recognize compelling radio if it bit them in the ass. Regardless of the cause, a major confrontation was occuring over “their airwaves” and this dumb-ass reject from “Roadhouse” actually walks out to go cry in the broom closet. If any of these imeciles had the forsight to keep this interview going, this may have provided national attention for their Asswater, FL. radio station rather than just a blurb on this site. As it stands, I think Schneider easily had the last laugh here, and I’m certain the next time I hear about this “Morning Zoo” it will be when they are inducted into Craig’s Radio Hall of Fame.

Rob may have been little pissed waiting at the parking lot, but he handed it perfectly. How could you NOT mention that he was being delayed by some dancer. And he spoke about it in a funny way, he never seemed pissed or angry.

The crew seemed to be looking for some drama, and I give Rob credit for keeping his cool, because I don’t think I could have with that idiot Jason screaming at me ” I was a fan 20 minutes ago”. Rob was merely joking about the fact that he had to wait in a parking lot for some time. Rob is a sarcastic guy, that’s his humor. I think what did it for the witch was the comment about making more money than she did. That was low, however it was pre-empted by the fact that she said Rob wasn’t funny. I have seen a million comedians get told that they weren’t funny, and every one of them reacted in the same way. Rob actually got over that whole thing and again, the lady antaganized him by saying “You were bitching about waiting in the parking lot like an A Lister. Then again, the co-hosts brought up the parking lot thing. Rob never mentioned it beyond the initial mention and the fact that there wes gum and cigarette butts (which was funny). Jason/Virginia lighten up. Work more on your professionalism and keep it together during interviews. Walking out was lame and unecessary. This was really disappointing. I actually thought Wild 95.5 was one of the decent shows to listen to around here and refused to listen to the audio (unfortunately I missed the show, or video because I ASSUMED there were right in their opinions on air). After watching this video, which was SUPPOSED to prove their point, I’m really disappointed. It looks like Rob may have been a bit chippy about it, but as professional you try to steer the interview into a more positive direction. Things wouldn’t of spiraled out of control if they had tried taking things in a new direction. And why try to set him up with a question on what list he should be on. I credit Rob for trying to make things work for as long as he did.

I think all of you critical bastard’s need to watch the video again in slo-mo! I never liked or disliked Rob Schneider prior to this interview, but I am definitely now not a fan. I love humor . . . whether it be dry, sarcastic, crude, silly, etc… but Robs actions were just plain asinine. And for every action there is a reaction. I think the Wild Morning show is a fantastic show. Ok, Ive seen the video, seen the news story and even herd the Howard Stern takes. First whether you like Howard Stern or not i like how he performs and preps for his interviews. Now do you have to follow a script all the time, no, but when you don’t you kind of leave yourself at the mercy of the guest. In this case it was a comedian that likes to kid around with people. Sometimes when your life is trying to be funny and your not being asked great questions you got to draw on something. With Rob it was waiting in the parking lot behind a Dancer from a movie. THAT’S FUNNY! Now i know i don’t have the added info of knowing what went on before the cameras got turned on but hey if he was in a bad mood, maybe an option was to take the high road and try to put him in a good mood.
I will say this, there did seem to be a bit of tension between Rob and Virgina. The interesting thing is (and this is just an observation) How quick the links and news story went up about this interview. Also, How quick you guys were to name drop Howard Stern. It could get people talking even more about how this could have all been staged. Do you guys really consider that because this has happened more then once before with 2 or 3 well known comedians that it may have something to do with how you guys handle these interviews? Anyways, Kevin i havent herd you enough but I like how you conducted yourself in the interview and kept your cool throughout. Its like you get that if you sit back and play it cool you will give the person being interviewed a chance to sink or swim. Which is i think how an interview should be performed. I don’t know how good your questions would have been but i found myself wishing how good they were and how Rob would have reacted to them.

I listened to this go down and thought it was a joke at first, but after watching the video and hearing the discussion afterward, I have to say I’m disappointed that it was real. Clearly Rob was serious by his body language and facial expressions - there’s a difference when you are joking. I was a little surprised because I didn’t think Rob was snooty like that. I don’t think Virginia and Jason handled it correctly, but I understand why they were upset. They were big fans of Rob and excited to have him come on the show. If he were truly being comical and trying to lead into some jokes, it would be fine but I don’t think that was the case. I think he really is that arrogant which is quite funny because his most recent movie that he directed, Big Stan, went straight to DVD. I actually really like a few of Rob’s movies and think he is funny. In this instance though I’m disappointed on both sides. Rob was just not funny and came off, in my opinion, like he thinks he’s better than others. I mean he is more famous, but come on…you don’t act like that especially if you are trying to promote your comedy show. On the flip side, Virginia and Jason should have just rolled with it, maybe turned it around on him. They are just inexperienced. Someone like Howard would have ripped him a new ahole and it would have been hilarious! But that is why Howard makes millions - he has the talent and the thick skin to handle those scenarios. The morning show has talent potential and I’m sure over time, the morning show will learn to have some of that skill. Howard though is just a different animal, so you really can’t compare how he would handle the situation - Rob would never even think about walking on Howard’s show with that snooty attitude.

I think that Rob S. is ugly! The only thing he has going for his is that he is a funny and likeable guy, that is out the window. Some people have no respect for anyone, that would be Rob( just an observation..as listed above). Couldnt agree with most of you more, Rob wasnt being a dick at all. The guy is a comedian who made a joke and the two people sitting at the table threw a fit and it sounded like the guy hosting it just joined in because their his buddies. Personally speaking you book me on your show and then you start insulting me and acting like spoiled brats my ass would have gotten up and left. Look he is your guest, you kept him waiting the guy joked about it and you tried to run him in to the ground when you were wrong in the first place. How F’ed up is that really when you think about it? Can you imagine inviting some one over for dinner making them wait in your drive way then showing up late and the first joke your guest makes about the situation you kick them out. the hosts of the show let the interview go in a direction that got out of control. to me it looked like once it did they took advantage of the situation and now they are on the coat tails of a celebrity to get some media attention. and it worked. kevin and rob were the only adults in that interview.

I listen to this radio station every morning on my way to school, and I honestly refuse to listen to any other morning shows. When Rob said that he interviewed with their “competition”, he had to of mean one of the lower budget stations in the county because Wild 95.5 is 100% the top radio station in our county, and their morning show is hilarious. And it has the best DJ’s in their station, and the guy in the hat that you all are referring to as a jerk is actually one of the nicest guys I have ever had the chance to listen to. And he is one of the funniest also. I’m not taking sides just because I am a fan of the show, but they did NOT make Rob wait in the parking lot. He chose to do so on his own. And also, they apologized multiple times to him, and they were only 15 minutes late in getting him on the show, and Rob still flipped out. In my opinion, Rob does not seem like a very personable person at all. As a comedian, I believe you should be open to all questions, and if you’re getting interviewed on a show, do your best to cooperate and answer the questions. Rob and his big ego not only DIDN’T answer the question, but he was extremely rude about it too. So idk, put that into consideration I guess.

I love the 95.5 crew but they kept going and going when Schneider was over it. Kevin started it and let Virginia and Jason finish it for him. I felt awkward for Schneider. He is a comedian with a huge personality. I think it was all over dramatic. Kevin should have not said did the parking lot really make you mad??? then it just went down from there. Correction 1 - Rob was offered to come into the building, but refused.

Correction 2 - Virginia is far from being fat, is actually pretty, and got tired of Rob hounding her about her voice. She didn’t criticize the fact that he is 4 foot nothing.

Correction 3 - Florida is one of the biggest states, as another pointed out, and this station is not ran by hillbillies (No disrespect to country music, but you all obviously have not listened to the music that is played).

Correction 4 - Same hosts for ten years, so I doubt that they criticized an actor who’s only award for his work is a razzie is going to get them fired ( I checked his resume, and sorry, but see no Oscar winners there)

I think the local city governement where this show airs needs to check the water supply for lead, as anybody who thinks this “zoo crew” is funny obviosuly suffers from lead poisoning, mental retardation, or both.

And, Rob was just fine. In fact, I actually have some respect for him now, whereas I had none before.

The way that radiotard looked at him when he correctly pointed out that the Michael Jackson movie everybody is going nuts over is merely footage of a rehearsal, as if Schneider was mentally deranged for not fawning over Jackson, shows just how moronic these rodeo, I mean radio clowns are.

What none of you Howard Stern fans get, and not that it really matters, is that because these guys have been working together for so long, they are like a family. Kevin is the dad, and Virginia and Jason are the siblings. Jason and Virginia rag on each other all the time, but like any big brother, he became upset when he saw how upset Virginia was. Rob kept harrassing her. Then he criticized them by saying he could buy them 5 times over. And lastly he picked on Kevin (the father) by saying he didn’t have enough to do. Kevin is the nicest guy you will ever meet, and that was the final blow. You would not know this, as it is easy to make judgements by understanding only part of the story.

And before you criticize me for over analyzing, I am not the one who think “Howard Rules!”

That is a pretty jerky question that would put anyone on the defensive, especially after making him wait in the parking lot. I can’t believe how anyone thinks Rob Schneider is being a jerk after watching the video in its entirety. It’s pretty obvious that the radio show hosts are sub par and I would rather sit on a cushion of needles than hear them “try” to interview another person again. Interview Skills 101, anyone?

Also, Rob was dishing it out as much as they were. At 4:49, the woman clearly brings up the parking lot issue, obviously trying to bait Rob. The only difference is that he didn’t start yelling at the top of his voice about how his interviews never go well with the other radio talk show hosts.

I haven’t listened to them much but if they can’t take minor jabs from a comedian, then they’re probably boring as hell. If anything they need to learn how to jab back and probably should have had jabs ready if they suck at doing that sort of thing on the spot, but no…instead they get uppity like they’re bigger than morning radio. Who the hell wants to wait around in a parking lot because some morning show doesn’t have their crap together and ready for him? The fact is that Rob’s morning show comment is in fact pretty true about most morning radio shows. Them getting pissed off about it to the point of yelling at him to me shows their lack of confidence in their own show. If anything, if they think he’s being “holier than thou” then they should just be like “whatever, not like anyone gives a sh*t about what you think” but instead they get over-the-top offended and stop the interview. The local tv and gossip made it seem like Rob was a jerk. Watching the interview in full it looks like jason was the jerk. Virginia was over sensitive. Rob was just being himself, kinda diggy and aggressive, he loves to jump on a topic and beat it up. They were late, they should apologize big time. That’s rude. He picked on them, that’s what comedians do! I saw Rob live that night at the comedy club, he was about the same as the interview. Hardly funny, very dry, he even told some of the same lame jokes… The morning crew should be ashamed of the poor effort and happy for all the publicity.

I’ve been in radio for almost 20 years, so I have at least some background with which to form an educated opinion about this kind of stuff…morning show people are mostly assholes and these retards proved it proficiently. That wasn’t even entertaining to watch (or listen to) but rather cringe worthy. And the industry continues to spiral downward…this is such a perfect example of why radio sucks and can’t grow new audience shares. The OM, PD & GM should be ashamed of themselves for paying these people actual salaries. And for the uninitiated…asking a working actor if he/she considers themselves to be an “A list” celebrity, doesn’t usually endear you to them. But, oh that’s right, he wasn’t there to entertain your listeners but rather to make you feel good about yourselves. Rob Schnieder has worked with Farley, Sandler and many other amazing talents. How about asking him to share stories of interest about some of them instead of playing the lame, over-used confrontation card. Talk about egos out of control. Rob Schneider is a funny guy with a lot of ability, has paid his dues and made something of himself. Can we same the same for any of these three no-names? What a waste of a great opportunity to actually entertain your audience. Ass clowns.

Obviously the radio station was illprepared for an interview with Rob here. I collect from it that he kept his cool rather well. Call screeners are a plus in this instance as well, why on earth if the interview is going so south would they allow a person to right off the bat start bashing him? Are they trying to prove to their listeners that they are much better comedy team or trio then the established guest? unreal how Rob was treated, he was correct in how they number 1 spelled his last name wrong, and two did not call him in even though they had another guest that they were doing since they were running late. what would have been the outcome had they been on time i wonder? I heard no rellevant questions comming from either of the three towards rob of his reason for being in town , all i heard was a radio station with three people who did not prepare themselves with enough good questions to ask him.

The ass in the hat was just sitting there with out any notes, as if he could get by on personality. That girl just doesn’t belong on the air at all, with that attitude and that voice. The hosts, especially Douchie Pot Hat with the whiny biotch voice were wrong. Over and over they kept bringing up how Rob was mad at having to wait, and he joked it off. They kept trying to make it an issue and he kept telling them it was no big deal, until he started giving it back to them.
Douchie Pot Hat kept whinning and trying to yell over everyone like a 4 year old and when he said, “I liked you 20 minutes ago”, Rob said, “I don’t care” and somehow he was surprised.
All these morning shows try to stir the pot and call celebrities or have them on and try to make fun of them, or ask if the consider themselves “A” or “B” list, and basically try to set up the guests. I just watched this after Howard Stern was talking about it. He commented about how the hosts totally ruined a great interview opportunity. Rob Schneider was busting some balls, and making Michael Jackson jokes. Instead of turning it into a great comedic interview, the hosts start arguing with him and getting all offended. The only problem that’s evident in this clip is that the hosts aren’t good enough to turn this into a good interview.

I don’t understand how people can’t see why they got mad at Rob Schneider. He told Virginia that he COULD BUY HER AND THEN SELL HER, meaning that she is worth nothing compared to him. That alone is enough to be pissed at him. What if he said that to your daughter or your mother? Would you still think that he was just joking around and that no one should be offended. I think that Jason started getting angry at that moment and the other rude remarks just pushed him over the edge. How could you blame him after what he said about Virginia? I respect Kevin for trying to hold the show together, but I also respect Jason and Virginia for sticking to their guns and not letting someone (even if they’re a celebrity) walk all over them.

I can’t stand that female of the group, she comes off as the alpha of the group and the others just follow suit. It’s this type of dynamic that has a certain effect on the males of the group to look up and be subordinate to her ways.

Yeah, um, I hope these guys got fired. How can you screw up an interview with a comedian? First rule of communications: treat your guest well. They screwed it up off the bat by not taking care of him from the moment he got to the station. Then they didn’t apologize. Mess up around a comedian, and obviously, that’s going to become the topic, so you have to run with it. And the show clearly wasn’t produced well… they didn’t have anything set aside to talk about! Which is why Rob was prob riffing so much. Otherwise, it would have been dead air with those mannerless, humorless morons. That’s a real shame ANY guest would get treated like that.

You know what’s hilarous. The morning show I listen to here in Denver, 103.5 The Fox, had Schneider. But you know the difference? Lewis and Floorwax keep to their schedule. They don’t push off their guest because of some other person. These guys are horrible Disc Jockeys, for the fact that who ever the ass was cussing on morning radio. That is by far the most unprofessional thing you can do, especially on radio. And then going and crying to the media? Really? Talk about some pussy ass crying people. Sorry that Rob Schneider laid it out to them like it is.

Honestly after hearing this, it was them Not Rob who started this. The girl whatever her name is said that he was “A bitching about the parking lot” and of course after that he would want to say something about it again. But afterwards he said he was just kidding and to drop it and talk about something else but the crew instead of doing that, they kept on being stuck on the parking lot issue, she shouldn’t have said that he was A bitching, and they should have just dropped it after he said he was just fooling around and joking. It was obvious it wasn’t a big deal, but the station made it out to be.

yes…rob schneider isn’t really a nice person. I’ve known about this for a while. I was talking to a film producer about a bunch of different actors, musicians, and etc. and rob schneider came up in the convo. I got an ear full.

The hosts were completely unprofessional and missed Rob’s humor. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt (Rob being a jerk) he was still interesting and any amateur host could have turned that into something positive and joked around with him. Hosts acted like complete children, they should be fired immediately.

I think that this radio show is very rude. I don’t think they are funny. When you have a guest you should be polite. The guy in the hat is rude and should be fired and so should be the also. Rob Schneider is a very likable guy. I have been to his shows. I find it very disrespectful that they treated him that way. This radio station needs new host. Interesting, Entertaining, polite, and manners. All of which this show lacks.

Rob was definitely a jerk. The hosts already let go the part when Rob was saying how much more money he makes and this and that and kept going on about the parking lot. It was just getting tiring, and if the whole parking lot was indeed a joke, Rob should know how quickly jokes get dull so why would he keep repeating the same joke? It wasn’t a joke, it was one of those things where you’re serious about it but cover it up as a joke so incase you get called out on it later you can fall back on it being a joke. But either way, the interview was already boring prior to the argument. And I blame Rob for this. The hosts bring in a comedian and have legitimate questions and background information ready and he’s just dull and boring. Just answers the questions with answers like “oh doesn’t matter… don’t care about that… whatever…”. Rob was just completely dull, boring, and a jerk.

This station was lucky to have Rob on the show. The issue was not with Rob, but rather with these low life amateur DJ’s who think they are soo funny. Most of their audience consists of cholos and ghetto listeners so the lowest of the lowest experience is necessary on these “Wild” morning people. And that chick DJ sounds like she smokes a pack a day. She has a terrible radio voice. It’s no wonder why this station has lost its ratings and they are considering changing over the format to this station to Light Country. Way to have a star on the show and insult him you “Wild” and classless losers!

Let’s get this straight.
This two bit show is pathetic. Schneider and McDonald are both comedy legends and if interviews with them went poorly they only have themselves to blame. Anyone who says this is the best morning show can continue to live in your little fantasy world where obviously Howard Stern doesn’t exist because the worst moments on the Stern show are 10 times better than anything these no-talent zookeepers have ever done.
