On Thursday, James apologized to his wife and three children from previous relationships through a statement issued to People magazine and later obtained by The Associated Press.

“It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way,” he said. “This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them.”

He added that “the vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded,” but offered no other details, saying, “Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.”

The U.K. premiere of Sandra Bullock’s film The Blind Side will be missing one thing — its lead actress.

Sandra released a statement via Warner Bros. apologizing for the cancellation which reads: “Due to unforeseen personal reasons a trip abroad to support The Blindside has been deemed impossible at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued support of the film.”

PRInside.com reports the premiere, scheduled to take place in London on Tuesday Mar. 23, “has been axed – because the film’s star Sandra Bullock has pulled out of attending.” A Warner Bros. spokeswoman said, “Because Sandra isn’t coming any more, there isn’t going to be an actual premiere. She isn’t coming over, no. I don’t know the reason why. We just had the message relayed to us this morning.”
