Adam Lambert has finally admitted what everyone else in America already knows…he likes to smoke pot and he’s gay. Adam said that he wanted to wait to come out because doing it on the cover of Rolling Stone would be ‘cooler.’ Awww, I love him. Adam said:

‘I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay. Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler…I’m proud of my sexuality. I embrace it. It’s just another part of me. I’m trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader.’

Adam also signed a recording contract with 19 Records. I’ve never heard of that label, but he’s pretty excited and really, Adam and his beautiful hair’s happiness is all that really matters in my world. Oh, he also presented at the Young Hollywood Awards last Sunday (6.7).  He’s such a busy queen these days, but he looks so beautiful doing it all!

I love me some Adam Lambert (and his beautiful hair) and it really hurts my heart that Clay Aiken is trying to steal his spotlight by saying that Adam’s beautiful voice makes his ears bleed.  Um really, Clay?  Weren’t your 15 minutes up like…4 years ago?  Well, Adam is finally fighting back!  He recently told Access Hollywood: 

‘I don’t know Clay.  I’m glad he’s getting headline now though, because he wasn’t before  If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him.’

I love you Adam Lambert…oh, and Clay nobody is Aiken for you anymore so you can just shut up!

 

So, I know I never watch American Idol but I’m super pissed that Adam Lambert lost mainly because I love me some gay men.  Kris Allen was crowned American Idol 2009 last night (5.20.09) and even he was shocked.  In an interview he said, “I’m always surprised man.  For me, making it through each week…each week is crazy.”  Yea Kris, you’re surprised along with the rest of the country.  Long live Adam Lambert and his beautiful hair!
