Blink 182 Headlines Show For Free

This year’s 2009 Virgin Mobile Festival headlined by Blink 182 and Weezer is going to be FREE! No, this is not a joke…I swear! Organizers are giving away 35,000 free tickets and all their asking for in return is a donation to help homeless shelters. There’s also gonna be a VIP section for people who complete 13 hours of community service at designated shelters around the nation. Um, I kind of love the guys from Weezer and Blink not only because they’re hot and tattooed, but they’re f*ckin’ charitable. We love hot and charitable.

Blink 182 did an amazing show on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night at the Pontiac Garage (no idea wtf that is, btw). Oh well, they rocked… they were only supposed to perform two songs, but ended up doing an extra 5 because they were having a good time. I can’t wait for this tour to come around… kinda more pumped to see them than Green Day, not gonna lie…

So I think that my heart just stopped… Blink 182 is for sure going on tour and they are for sure coming to my town. Yay! Oh, and you’ll be happy to learn that the Blink boys are thinking about their fans… the tour manager has released a statement saying that lawn tickets are gonna be cheap as $hit. “If you have $20, you get in. No fees or anything,” he says. Sweet… I can find $20 somewhere…

Here it is… Blink 182 on stage, together, at the Grammy’s. Not only did they present together, they announced that the band will be getting back together. This reunion could totally beat out No Doubt… at least for me.

Blink 182 To Reunite At Grammys

Not really what I was hoping for… but Travis Barker, Tom DeLong and Mark Hoppus from Blink 182 will be reuniting on the Grammys stage — as presenters. Lame! After their 2005 announcement of an “indefinite hiatus” the three went their separate ways, only to later become friends again. Maybe they’ll surprise us with a little Adam’s Song?
