Courtney Love Is Suing Guiter Hero

If you haven’t picked up the latest version of Guitar Hero then you wouldn’t know that Kurt Cobain’s likeness is in it. There’s two songs, ‘Lithium’ and ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ that you play with him. His avatar, however, is available for you to play any number of songs in the game… this includes rapping and more. Courtney Love is not pleased with this and let the world know through her Twitter, “for the record i did not approve of kurts avatar for guyitarhero5″. This is contrary to a contract she herself signed as well as former bandmate Dave Grohl and Universal publishing with Activision. She also claims she was forced to sign the deal, “i was forced with literally a gun to sell rights ask Karsh and Mestel why the f*ck activision has a f*ucking moving avatar”. She later made mention of suing the game company for the “rape”.
