Ellen Degeneres made a huge announcement this morning on her show… she’s going to replace Paula Abdul as the other judge on American Idol. She’s stoked and I honestly might start watching now. I mean, seriously… Ellen is the funniest person out there right now. This is a very smart play on Idol considering their drop in ratings lately. A normal person on the show! Yes! Freaking amazing.

Lady Gaga has come out with a brand new insane outfit! Her hair thingy reminds me of my 6th grade science project about the solar system. I hate it. The denim cat suit is cute, but too J-Lo for me. I really think this is a Gaga Fashion Fail (they happen to be few and far between). At about the 3:40 mark her voice totally changes. I know she’s supposed to be taking a month off due to slight exhaustion so I’m curious to know if she’s lip syncing or not… she does do the ‘acoustic’ intro in the beginning of all her Pokerface live performances. Hmm…

In case you missed it, Lindsay Lohan was on Ellen Degeneres this morning (4.23). She tried to clear up the rumors about the split between her and girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. She claims she had no idea that SamRo was actually breaking up with her. Nice. Also, my lovely intern claims that this interview is the closest Lindsay ever came to admitting she was a lesbian… because she admits that they broke up. Hmm… good call, Intern Meagan. PS - Ellen is quite possibly the most hilarious person on earth.

It’s finally gonna happen! Ellen Degeneres has been making please to Oprah to be included on the cover of her magazine, O. For the first time, Oprah has shared her cover… with First Lady Michelle Obama. Ellen wants on, too! She appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last week and made a plea. Then called Oprah’s office… and was put on hold for 11 minutes! Well, Oprah totally caught Ellen off guard by appearing on her show via satellite from Chicago to invite her on the cover! Ever wanna see Ellen shocked… watch the clips. It’s hilarious…
