Finally Jessica Simpson has something to smile about! She was out and about in Mumbai filming her reality show, ‘The Price of Beauty’. Gitanjali Jewelery threw a welcome party for her and she actually seems like she’s having a good time.

Apparently Jessica Simpson went on a date with Hollywood hottie Gerard Butler at Soho House Tuesday night. The weird thing is that she brought along her stylist friend, Ken Paves and a few other friends. “They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours. They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken.” Either they totally had a threesome or nothing really interesting happened. Maybe it’s a good thing Jess is playing the game safely. Neither rep has responded for comments.

Ashlee Simpson left baby Bronx at home this weekend as she celebrated her 25th birthday with sister Jessica Simpson and husband Pete Wentz at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino pool Wet Republic. They did the whole posing for pic and interview stuff that they were paid to do before hitting the pool for some fun. Ya know, of all the celebrities that go to this pool, I’ve never seen any one get in the pool. If I’m having a pool party, you best believe my @ss will be floating on a raft with a beer in hand the whole freaking time.

Oh she makes my job so easy. Jessica Simpson is devoting much of her time to filming her new tv show, The Price of Beauty. Before she went to bed in Uganda, she Twittered about having to sleep in a mosquito net, “WTF?!? Do I really have to sleep like this?” Yes, Jessica, unless you want a giant mosquito to carry you off like the coyote did to your dog, Daisy, you have to sleep like that. {insert obvious Chicken Of The Sea joke here.]

She’s been dumped this year. Her precious puppy was eaten by a coyote a week ago. Jessica Simpson is on a downward spiral and her friends are super concerned about her.

“Daisy was her baby,” one of her friends tells PEOPLE. “It’s going to put her into a tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever.”

“She won’t leave her parents’ house,” a source says.

“Whenever things went wrong for Jessica, she reached for Daisy,” another source, a friend, says. “Daisy was her security blanket. When people let her down, she always had Daisy.”

“Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy,” the friend said. “She is so sweet, but sometimes because of that she’s hard to be around. It’s not always easy. She hates to be alone. That’s what happened with Tony [Romo]. Jessica smothers people. She doesn’t really have any hobbies. Daisy was exactly what Jessica needed.”

Sounds like she needs some friends that will stop blabbing their big fat mouths to the tabloids…

According to her distressed tweets, Jessica Simpson’s dog, Daisy, was taken by coyotes… and Jess still believes the fur ball is alive. “A coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”

Simpon put up reward signs for the return of her pooch. She received the dog from her ex-hubby Nick a few years ago.
