Jessica Simpson’s bff, Ken Paves, got her a set of ear candles and here’s a video of her doing it to herself (while using a Papa John’s pizza box to protect her golden locks).

Apparently Jessica Simpson went on a date with Hollywood hottie Gerard Butler at Soho House Tuesday night. The weird thing is that she brought along her stylist friend, Ken Paves and a few other friends. “They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours. They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken.” Either they totally had a threesome or nothing really interesting happened. Maybe it’s a good thing Jess is playing the game safely. Neither rep has responded for comments.

Jessica Simpson’s Split From Paves

Looks like Jessica Simpson is finally making some less than diva moves as she has split from her long time hair dresser, Ken Paves. Previously, Jess would only do a photo shoot if he was permitted to style her hair… she’s even turned down magazine covers because he wasn’t allowed to be there… but not now. She’s so desperate for publicity that she agreed to allow stylist, Oribe, do her hair. Her rep said, “[Photographer] Mario Testino insisted on his team, and we agreed. Mario is a genius. The photos are gorgeous and transformative.”
