If you watched the Oscars this past weekend, you’ll remember that while Jennifer Aniston was presenting, the camera panned to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie smiling as they looked at her. Awkward… Well now OK! Magazine is reporting that Brad never stopped loving Jennifer…

“Jen couldn’t have cared less whether Angie was at the Oscars,” an insider tells OK! “Her mind was fixated on her ex-husband Brad Pitt. Once her eyes met Brad’s that night, it rekindled all the old feelings, she has never stopped loving Brad. Just because Brad was swept off his feet by Angelina, it didn’t mean he stopped loving Jen,” says the source. “He has this obsession with Angelina and he felt he had to explore a relationship with her. Things just seemed to snowball and the next thing Brad knew, he had six kids,” the insider tells OK! of the shocking romance that blossomed on the set of the Jolie-Pitt action flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005. “There was no turning back.”

PCD & Rahman Remix Oscars’ Jai Ho

Last night at the Oscars, AH Rahman won Best Song for his ‘Jai Ho’ from Slumdog Millionaire. I found out that the Pussycat Dolls remixed and rerecorded this song with Rahman to be released on Top 40 radio this week. Here’s the hit before you hear it in you car. It’s a great dance song and I’m totally into it and you should be, too.

There were only a few performances at the Oscars… not really the star-studded musical show that was the Grammys. Beyonce, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens did a medley song with Hugh Jackman that was a tribute to musicals. It was good, but Beyonce stole the show for sure. Oh yea, and the kids from Mama Mia! were there, too.

I never could understand why it’s called ‘The Oscars’s’ and ‘The Academy Awards’. I mean, it’s the Academy’s awards and I guess the individual awards are called the Oscars… but it makes no sense! Pick a freaking name already. Anyway, here’s some leaked footage of Hugh Jackman’s rehearsals from The Oscars. Some production assistant made and it’s pretty cool.

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are supposedly going to meet during a pre-Oscars party in Beverly Hills. OK! Magazine is reporting, “She has always known that this moment would happen and she’s never been more ready to see her nemesis, Angie, in the flesh, she’s no longer alone — she has a hot man in her life — John Mayer — and she plans to bring him as her date to the party.”

Nate Silver’s Oscar Predictions

Nate Silver (from FiveThirtyEight.com) is really really good at predicting things… namely things that we all wanna know anyway. He uses all sorts of weird mathematical equations and algorithms and things that we don’t know or care to understand. He’s predicted the Oscar’s… so check out the “winners”..

Informally, it involved building a huge database of the past 30 years of Oscar history. Categories included genre, MPAA classification, the release date, opening-weekend box office (adjusted for inflation), and whether the film won any other awards. We also looked at whether being nominated in one category predicts success in another.
