I missed Kate Gosselin’s interview on Larry King Live when it was on last night, but I watched the whole thing. I’m surprised at how calm and collected she was. I mean, she doesn’t say very many bad things about Jon and his decision to leave the show. She confirms that she will continue the show with the children because, “I know that, personally, for myself and the kids, this has been a good experience. It continues to be a good experience…Everyone works. Everyone has a job. Everyone has what they’re dealing with. And, generally speaking, this is the most flexible, workable, wonderful job for myself.” I’d def watch the show once Jon leaves. It’d be interesting to see how the TLC producers would continue on filming only half of the children’s lives. See the rest of the interview here and here.

It’s about time that American Idol step it up and get someone with some musical talent in the judges seat. Mary J. Blige will be a guest judge for the American Idol auditions in Atlanta. So far, Victoria Beckham has been filling Paula’s empty seat… “The judges and production team have been having a lot of fun with Victoria. She’s has a great response so far, and has been really warm with the contestants.” Umm… warm? Seriously? That’s the last word I’d associate with Victoria Beckham.

Fox has just signed on to create a 2-hour documentary on OctoMom (Nadya Suleman) called, “Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage.” The mini-documentary will show unseen exclusive footage starting with the birth of her octuplets in January on 2009. Lucky us, the show will air on Wednesday, August 19th and Fox is saying that we will “witness the emotional struggles, physical complication and financial burdens of this single mother of 14… including the private moments and reactions of Suleman’s family, as well as Suleman’s own feelings, doubts and fears.” Basically, they’re gonna make you feel bad for trash talking her and then give you more reason and ammunition to talk trash about her.

Kate Gosselin was on Good Morning America talking about The Separation. She opens up about her lying sister-in-law and Jon dating again… which brings her to tears. Wait, and why does she wear her ring still? Honestly… for the kids? Ha! I’m calling bull$hit. Aww… poor Mullet-head…

Last night, Paula Abdul confirmed (through her Twitter) that she will not be returning to American Idol. Fox issued a statement saying, “Paula Abdul has been an important part of the ‘American Idol‘ family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show. While Paula will not be continuing with us, she’s a tremendous talent and we wish her the best.” Which pretty much means, ‘Sucks to be you, Paula cause now you’ll be a reoccuring guest star on Kathy Griffin’s ‘My Life On The D-List’. We were all you had and you just screwed yourself into oblivion. Congrats and don’t let the door hit your @ss on the way out. Peace, b$tch.’
She’s doomed.

Ryan Seacrest is making bank. Apparently he just signed a three-year deal with the parent company of American Idol, worth $15 million per year. He is now officially the highest paid reality TV show host. Previously, he’s been making less than $5 million per season. Aww… what a freaking shame.

The Discovery Channel announced that its series, ‘Pitchmen’ (starring Billy Mays and Anthony “Sully” Sullivan) has been renewed and will air a second season. Discovery says the show will go on because it did well in ratings, but also “as a tribute to Mays’ legacy.” Billy May III (Billy’s son) will helps develop the format for season two. No premiere date has been set yet. Umm… does anyone else think this show will tank now? I mean, I hate to admit it, but I was hooked… and it had mostly to do with Billy. So let’s be honest, unless his son has that awesome beard and annoyingly cool shouting-all-the-time-voice… I’m prolly not gonna watch.

Audrina Patridge is always been the supporting ‘actress’ on The Hills. After teaming up with reality guru Mark Burnett, Audrina is going to get her very on show! “It’s my life after The Hills, my journey. It’s going to be a little spicer, edgier, older. It’s also about how I stay grounded with my family. There’s going to be new love, romances.” Does this mean that Justin Bobby won’t be on the show?! Argh. He would honestly be a huge draw to the show. Her life (and boobs) are a little too fake for my tastes…
