It’s about damn time, Beyonce! She finally broke her silence about the whole Kanye West/Taylor Swift VMA debacle. She opened up to Oprah Magazine’s editor-at-large Gayle King.

“Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award’.”

“When they didn’t call my name he was, like, completely shocked,” Knowles, 28, added. “And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’ ”

“In the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment – and I didn’t have to make an acceptance speech,” Knowles added with a laugh.

MJ from the morning show on a Tampa radio station is known for being in your face. Taylor Swift prolly would’ve done better if she had known this before doing a phone interview with him. Let’s just say he’s good at pushing the right buttons…

Taylor Swift is going to be performing her hit single, “You Belong With Me” at tonight’s VMA’s and details have leaked. “Taylor will be walking out of the subway and jumping on top of a taxi, and then she finished the song on the taxi with some dancers on it. She already filmed the segment where she’s singing on the subway.” Rumor has it Janet Jackson’s tribute to her brother will be before Taylor’s performance. Lady Gaga’s medley of “Love Game” and “Paparazzi” is supposedly going to happen right after Taylor’s song and dance. Swift is pretty stoked about the whole thing. Earlier today she tweeted, “VMA’s! I’m walking around Radio city music hall like a little kid at the aquarium. This is too awesome.”

Every year, MTV comes up with a different theme for the VMA’s and this year I’m guessing has something to do with Broadway, or West Side Story or something random like that because there’s a few promo pics and a commercial of Taylor Swift singing a re-written version of West Side Story (properly renamed VMA Side Story). It’s lame and I’m not particularly stoked to see this year’s VMA’s if that’s the case.
